After graduation I worked in Bambang, my hometown with the government in different clerical capacities and then moved to Bayombong to work with the Dept. of Public Highways which also brought me to Cagayan. I came abroad first to Lebanon for 2 years and England where I met my future husband, got married and had Jake. We moved to Florida in 1991 and settled here.

I was a working student as a librarian in St. Mary's College until I graduated in 1974 in Bachelor of Arts, majored in English and minored in Library Science. I will probably be remembered as the strict librarian because I was the bell ringer by the door whenever I hear noises. I also played the lunatic in one of our English drama college presentation so classmates will remember me for that under one of my favorite teacher, the late Mrs.Europa. My other favorite teacher is Heidi Lumanlan (economics) and of course my great mentor the late Mrs. Alice Natino. I will probably be remembered too as the lead/conductor with our National Anthem before classes start.
